My first was to start a t-shirt from Burda. I'll do a post on it soon. I broke my sewing machine pretty quick, so it's in the shop at the moment.
I also have awesome photos and even a video of our wedding, and I'll post some of that here.
1. Wedding Florals You Can Make
2. Stitch 'N Bitch Nation (Knitting Book)
3. Anti-Bride Guide (for brides without the pink frilly binders like mine ended up being...same useful info, though)
4. Time Life Books (one of the 16 or so book set) - Shortcuts to Elegance
5. Great Sewing Accessories--To Sew (got this at a book sale...styling is way outdated, but the ideas are surely translatable into current taste)
6. Masterpieces of Irish Crochet Lace (this does inculde some instructions and patterns, but also photos of some outstanding crochet lacework. Shows that crochet lace can be delicate, too)
7. Couture: The Art of Fine Sewing by Roberta Carr
Okay, enjoy!

Time Life Books - Shortcuts to Elegance and Couture: The Art of Fine Sewing by Roberta Carr
Welcome back! Hope you had a nice break from blogging!
Welcome back! No books for me, just excited to see what your next project will be. (-:
I am interested in Masterpieces of Irish Crochet Lace.
I just finished reading "The Dress" posts, thank you so much for taking the extra time to document the making of your dress. I look forward to seeing more pictures from the wedding.
I've made a few wedding dresses (including my own - 19 years ago!), but none have been as beautifully couture as your dress. :) I'm ready to start on my future sister-in-law's dress and found your blog searching for info on sewing wedding dress foundations. I will be referring back to your posts and my Bridal Couture book many, many times as I work on her dress.
yay! i've been missing your sewing ways. the art of fine sewing does look pretty sweet. as does great sewing accessories to sew. not like i need more books tho haha.
Wantasew: I'm so glad my dress blog posts are useful for you! I'd love to see photos of your sister-in-law's dress. What pattern are you using?
