I didn't finish my grey dress in time for the gala on Sunday! I worked hard on it on Friday night and Saturday, but by the end of Saturday I still didn't have the straps attached, the hem, or the belt finished. Not to mention that I had skipped overcasting and catch-stitching all the new seams' seam allowances and skipped slip stitching the bodice lining to the waist seam. Soo.... I wore an old BCBG dress that I wore to a wedding last year. The event was absolutely gorgeous, here are some photos:
Yesterday I was so tired when I got home from work that all I could do was hang up the new thread rack that I had gotten to replace the framed poster I used to have on the wall. Here it is, all loaded up:
