Dress Seam Finishing Begun

So, this seam finishing is the last thing I need to do before the assembly phase of dress construction.  Here are a few photos of the first seam I finished.  This fabric, the silk charmeuse underlined with silk organza, is definitely my favorite.  The silk crepe de chine is a little flimsy, plus the little stitched which show on the inside too extra care to sew for the linings.  The cotton broadcloth was a little thicker and so took a little more force to push the needle through.
