Tulle Pompoms

I am planning to make 250 of these tulle pompoms for our wedding decorations.  Aren't they cute? The crafty committee cut all the 2-yard long lengths of tulle, and all I need to do is sew a gathering line  down the middle of all of them.  Then, my Puerto Rico crafty committee can help me gather them and attach them to the stringing fishing line that I will bring.  BUT, I'm having sewing machine issues that I will post about next.  Here's the photo:

There was a grey kitty pestering Luna from outside the window. Luna was all out of sorts meowing, and now she won't leave the window, it's as if she's protecting the apartment or her virtue... :-)  I think the grey kitty has a crush on Luna, but Luna's having none of it.
